It is 2016. The future is happening. Right now, right here.
Last year The flaming bowling alley went off. It was a lot of hard work and learning for me as visionary and organizer. It payed off well. No one got hurt. A lot of fun happened and I relished in my first larger art project. I learned a lot about making a vision happen.

The biggest lesson for me was reaching out into my community and asking to be supported to make it happen. So many people came out of the woodwork to help make it happen. I could not have done this without the help and participation of all of those hands and brains and financial support. The bowling alley became a collaborative project. Many thanks to the mentoring from Terry, the encouragement from Liam and everyone else that was involved.

The second lesson(which I will apply this year) is have a solid action plan for Otherworld on site! I had planned everything all the way up to Otherworld and then whipped it together in total chaos, thank you for all the feedback that will inevitably make it easier and funner for support crew, and dpw.

This year we have a solid 8 person crew. 2 of which are my family! I am delighted to share them with my community. We have new shiny balls courtesy of my momma and pops. Some new features for the bowling alley (surprises await!).

Here is where all of you come in to make this experience more betterererererer.
The theme this year is the Little Big Bowlowski. So, go watch the Big Lebowski. Find your spirit Lebowski character and come dressed up and armed with one liners, and don’t piss on the carpet! And you just may find yourself a white russian to sooth your palette.

As per usual. You will experience slightly sketchy, janky, and lovely times cuddled up next to each other.

Last but not least. I want to thank all of you for helping to make this happen. Your unwavering support for art, artists, each other is what makes this happen. It is what makes me get butterflies and fall in love with you all year round. You know who you are, you know how bad my memory is, so I will not try to list names……….
Lettuce have ourselves a CrackerJack time!
